After my dogs were microchipped at Pet Luv, a very affordable thing to do, I called to record their chip number and register myself as owner. While talking to them, I decided to take out pet insurance on all three, which covers emergencies, advertizing if lost, cremation etc. It only cost approx $15.00 per pet per month, BUT, also for only $19 per Year, you can have them covered for emergency care if they have run away and are hurt. The Microchip identifies that they are covered so that whoever finds them hurt, the Vet or Animal hospital costs are covered.
ReplyDeleteLast year I spent a total of $1900 on one accident that My dog Cookie had while chasing a squirrel. Surgery is expensive. Now I don't have to worry anymore.
